Sabbath Rest
It's amazing to me that you can feel rested and refreshed on Sabbath even when the "everyday" stresses of life are as intense as ever. Supernatural. Thanks God!

The Holidays?!
I have always believed that the word "holiday" implied a day or period if time when one could expect family and/or friends or complete solitude, but behind it all was the idea of a pleasant spell of relaxation and rest. Hmm....
Since Thanksgiving Day we have had two Thanksgiving celebrations in towns 150 miles apart, the planning and executing of a daughter's wedding, planning and executing of a Christmas gathering, babysitting a happy hyper grandson over New Year's Eve, and an unexpected sudden round trip of 350 miles! So...can I have a "holiday" with my wife now? ;-)
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Thanksgiving 2009
We went to Jeremy & Lisha's for dinner. They fixed the dinner provided a warm comfortable environment and a pleasant family structure. It was wonderful! Thanks guys!

New Start?
I'm trying a new app that might make blogging worth doing. We'll see.

Here is a picture that includes the two grandkids who are missing from our life right now. Andy in the front and Jessica in the pink shirt. We love you guys. Can't wait to see you again!

Here are all the kids and grandkids in Fort Bragg for Mother's Day. It was wonderful to see all of our family together at once. On the other hand, we will never feel like our family is complete until it is: when Andy and Jessica Westcott can come back to their real family. In the meantime there is a whole in our hearts where those kids belong. God bless them!
A New Beginning
I just wanted to let anyone who's interested that I will be writing a little more often. I have a good reason to again.

One More Time...
Well, it's been a long while! I don't know who I'm writing this to so I won't go on too long, but I just wanted to appear undead. I'll put some pix up perhaps before too long.
